This article shows you the benefits of separating your data files from your program files on your computer's hard drive. This permits you to backup your important data files more frequently than you backup your operating and application program files. It also permits you to retain your data file backups longer than you need to retain your program file backups. Using this technique, you can tailor your backup approach to match the needs of each type of files on your computer. Technical Presentations: With the cost of energy skyrocketing this year, we are forced to reduce the number of live technical presentations we give to user group audiences. We do not want to miss sharing our information with the many user groups that we have presented to over the past 25 years. So, we will be doing live web seminars for individual groups instead. Using the latest computer technology, we will present a technical topic remotely to your group and be able to reply to the questions from your audience. It will be almost as if we were present in the room with your group, but we will not have the high cost of travel to prevent us from coming. All you will need at your end is a high speed internet connection and a computer and projector to display the presentation to your audience.
